Online Events Calendar
One of the (few) bright spots of the pandemic is the number of virtual programs — talks, exhibits, tours, discussions, and more — available online, removing the requirement of in-person attendance. The Jane Austen/Regency world has a growing number of online events of interest to our community. We’ve set up this Online Event Calendar to help you find some of them. Please check the listings and be sure to convert the event times (which are local to the organizers) to your location. To submit an event for the calendar, email news@jasnanorcal.org Note: JASNA regional events are also listed on the organization’s web site: http://jasna.org/conferences-events/

Austen Mondays – Pride and Prejudice YouTube presentations by Rosenbach Museum
The Rosenbach’s new biblioventure series will focus on Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Join us for a deep-dive into this classic novel for 24 weeks beginning September 19, 2022. We’re also moving the show to Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. For the first half hour of every episode host Edward G. Pettit will interview scholars and Janeites about all things Austen, then will lead a conversational annotation of a chapter or two of Pride and Prejudice. Along with co-hosts Dr. Lauren Nixon, Dr. Kathleen Hudson, and Kathryn MacMillan, together we’ll examine why and how Pride and Prejudice continues to be one of the most beloved books of readers everywhere.
