We hope you enjoy our programs about Jane Austen, her times, and her works as much as we do in presenting them for you. We appreciate your participation and now are asking for your help.

Volunteering in any capacity is an opportunity to take an active role in determining the speakers, events, and activities NorCal will offer over the next two years. Working with other Region members and engaging with speakers is fun and rewarding. Please see the list of volunteer positions below. Even if you can just sign-up for one event, you will be helping us run the chapter.

Volunteer Opportunities
Communications: newsletter contributor, webmaster

Membership: outreach (including youth and young adults), maintain member database, organize AGM attendance

Programming: technical assistance with Zoom hosting, including record programs, set up program registration, assist with future in-person events

Reading Group: host a meeting

Regional Coordinator for 2024–2026 term: oversee committee functions, run Board meetings, serve as liaison with national organization
